Walter G. “Bud” Adcock, 84, of Seguin, Texas, passed away on Thursday, April 21, 2011. Bud was born on July 5, 1926, in Sutherland Springs to Pearl Harrison and Walter G. Adcock Sr.
He was a 1943 graduate of Sutherland Springs High School and proudly served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict. He owned and operated a wholesale auto parts store in Seguin and later worked for Weyel Buick. Bud loved deer hunting and spending time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Johnnie Mae Dismuke Adcock; his parents; and his sisters, Jewel Wright, Helen Christy, and Bertha Naumann.
He is survived by his daughter, 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, and many friends at the Eden Cross Apartments.
A visitation was held from 10 a.m. to noon on Monday, April 25, in the Tres Hewell Mortuary in Seguin.
