Aliske H. Acree, of Adkins, passed away on Friday, Aug. 23, 2002, at the age of 84.
She was married on Feb. 10, 1937, to Arlous Arthur Acree, who passed away simultaneously with her. She was a homemaker and a member of the La Vernia United Methodist Church.
Preceded in death by: parents, Ida Schrank and Henry Hartmann.
Survivors include: daughter Joyce Fields (Ron); sons, Robert Acree (Gayle) and Arlous Arthur Acree Jr.; sisters, Evelyn Popp and Edna Donahoe; 5 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the La Vernia United Methodist Church Building Fund, P.O. Box 155, La Vernia, TX 78121.
Visitation was held Monday, Aug. 26, from 2-8 p.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel in La Vernia.
A funeral service was held at 10 a.m. in the Finch Funeral Chapel on Tuesday. The Rev. Alan Delafield officiated the service.
Interment followed in the Kicaster Cemetery in Kicaster.
