Married April 11, 1934, to Reinhardt Alex, who died Oct. 29, 1995.

Survivors: daughter, Lucille Lester (J.B.); son, Arthur Wayne Alex (Judy); sister, Erna Ender; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Friday, Jan. 18, in the Seydler-Hill Funeral Home in Gonzales. The Rev. Roger Morgan officiated. Interment followed.
