Pastor. A medical doctor, Lloyd-Jones accepted a call to a Welsh church; and in 1939 joined Westminster Chapel in London as co-pastor, eventually leading the church for 30 years. An outspoken critic of liberal movements in various protestant denominations, considered one of the greatest expository preachers of the 20th century. His expositions and teachings on homiletics are considered standard texts for many evangelicals.
