Graduate of St John's High School Worcester Mass., Served in WWII as a Major in the 1st Armored Division serving in Africa and Italy earning a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He retired in 1974 after 20 years with the Worcester Gas Company, now Commonwealth Gas. Pre-deceased by his wife Faye A. Schubert. Survived by 2 sons James M., and Paul T. Galliher, and a daughter Darlene Galliher. Son of James M. Galliher(St John's Worcester), Grandson of Horace Evans (St John's Worcester) and Thomas Galliher (St Patrick's Hinsdale Mass.)
