ANDREWS, Frank Born on February 4, 1918 in Shoshoni, Wyoming. He died on August 25, 2004 at his home in Granite Bay, California. His parents were Phillip S. Andrews and Fleta Andrews. He attended kindergarten in Shishoni, Wyoming. Frank lived in Redding, California, for one year and then moved to Roseville, where he completed grammar school and graduated from Roseville High School. Frank began working for his father, Phillip Andrews, in the Chrysler-Plymouth Dealership in Roseville. At the age of twenty three, Frank worked as a shop foreman for Cameron-Pontiac in their body shop. Frank Andrews married E. Louise Rankin on November 23, 1941. Frank was then drafted into the Army during World War II, and served his country from 1941-1944. Frank returned in 1945, and began his auto dealership on Atlantic Street in Roseville, he operated Andrews Lincoln Mercury for over 50 years with his beloved wife, Louise. Frank loved flying in his favorite airplane, a Cessna 421, nicknamed "Serendipity". He also enjoyed fishing trips to Baja, Mexico. His other favorite pastime was cooking for family, friends, and employees. His two famous dishes were "Baked Halibut" and "Thanksgiving Oyster Dressing". Frank is survived by his beloved wife Louise, his children, Frank Andrews, Jr. and his wife Ruby, Esther Lytton and her husband Gene, Dana Andrews and his wife Connie, and Brent Andrews and his wife Cheryl. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Jeffrey Andrews, Laurie Andrews, Kelly Andrews, and Sam Johnson, Dana Andrews, Jr., Eva Andrews, Gavin Andrews, and Jesse Andrews. He is survived by two great grandchildren, Ryan Andrews and Ian Andrews. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing, Monday, August 30, 2004, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. and Funeral Service, Tuesday, August 31, 2004, at 10:00 am. both at Shepherd of the Sierras Presbyterian Church, 5400 Barton Road (at Rocklin Road) Loomis, California. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society.
