Mrs. Lelia A. Anderson, 91, of 310 Smith, East Alton died at 3:45 AM. Sunday at Wood River Township Hospital, where she had been a patient approximately one week. Prior to her residency in East Alton she had lived in Wood River for several years. She was born in Brighton, Illinois on April 10,1879, she married Julius T. Anderson on August 10th.1890 in Alton, he preceded her in death. She was a Charter member of the Wood River Assembly of God Church where she had taught Sunday School class for 50 years. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs.John (Lelia) Parks of Alton, Mrs Frank (Lillian) Brueggeman, of Fosterburg and Miss Ruth Anderson of Moline, a son Donald J. Anderson of Alton. Nine Grand children and 16 great Grand children, a daughter, two sons, five brothers and two sisters preceded her in death. The Rev. Ronald Callahan Pastor of the Wood River Assembly of God Church will conduct the Funeral services at 1 PM. Wednesday at the Church,Burial will be in the Upper Alton Cemetery, visitation will begin after 1 pm. today.
