Puchica, also known as "Pu," "Poo-Bear," and "Poo-Dog," was found under my wife Debbie's car one morning in Fabens, TX before she went to work. Debbie went door to door in Fabens asking people if this was their puppy, but everyone said no. Debbie then decided to adopt Puchica as her own, and she joined the pack with Nose' (the dog Debbie brought back with her from her stint in the Peace Corps in Honduras).
Puchica was the kindest, gentlest dog you could ever know. She turned me, someone who didn't like dogs, into a certified dog lover. That is a testament to her character. It's pretty hard to melt my heart, but Pu did it. We will miss her forever, and I look forward to seeing her again at Rainbow Bridge when I have passed on to the other side.
