During Worldwar II Kurt served for His DUTY in the GERMAN Navy as Wireless Operator (Sparks).
After the War Kurt obtained for a Ham Radio Licence and became the Official International Callsign DL7UW.
Kurt joined as Member #201 the MF RUNDE,a German Society of Radio Hams who have been Navy Operators.
Kurt was a good Friend with a BIG Smile and a lot of Radio Friends all over the World.
The FIRST Picture shows Kurt in His Shack(Radio Room) in His Hometown BERLIN in GERMANY in the Year 1965.
The SECOND Picture is taken in MY Shack when Kurt visited Me in the HAGUE-HOLLAND in the Year 1987.
Kurt died December 30th.- 2006 in His Hometown BERLIN and is buried on the " Wald " Cemetery.
Kurt is now "a SILENT KEY ",like Hams say when one of them dies.
