During WW2 He served for His Duty as Wireless Operator(Sparks)in the GERMAN Navy.
Short after the end of WW2 Helmut obtained for a Ham Radio Licence and became the Official Callsign DL3QR.
Helmut was Member #2 of the"MF RUNDE",a German Society of former Navy Operators.
He was a very nice Fellow,loved by the other Members of the MF Society and His many Radio Friends all over the World.
He died June 5th.-1994 in BREMEN in GERMANY.
It is unknown if He is Cremated OR Buried in Bremen.
