Burial will be in Mineola City Cemetery under direction of Brooks-Sterling & Garrett Funeral Directors, Tyler.
Mrs. Arthur died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013, at her home in Tyler.
She was born Sept. 3, 1937, in Mineola to the late Hubert and Hattie DeVaughn and was a lifelong resident of Smith County. She was a graduate of Emmett J. Scott High School, a member of Freedom of Praise and a musician.
