Bill passed away Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at his residence following a brave battle with cancer. Bill's wishes were for his body to be donated to medical science. He was a driver for Southeastern Freight in Tyler. He loved riding his Harley, "Loretta," and being with his dogs.
Bill was born the middle of five siblings on Jan. 21, 1954, in Snyder to the late Thomas and Wanda Abshier. His family moved to South Louisiana, where he grew up before moving back to Texas where he worked for Texas A&M at the Brayton Fire Field as a haz-mat technician for 10 years before moving to East Texas.
Besides his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Robert Graham.
