Funeral services for Mr. Charles Arbuckle Jr., 82, of Henderson, will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 30, 2011 at South Main Church of Christ with Bob Payne officiating. Interment will be in Lakewood Memorial Park under the direction of Crawford-A. Crim Funeral Home in Henderson. Family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the funeral home. Mr. Arbuckle passed away September 27, 2011 in Henderson. He was born May 31, 1929 in Eufaula, OK to the late Charles H. and Lucy Price Arbuckle. Mr. Arbuckle was a veteran of the Korean War, and he was later an electrician who retired from the city of Henderson and Texas Utilities. He also served as a deacon at South Main Church of Christ. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by: first wife, Della Arbuckle; and sons, Charles Hal Arbuckle and Johnny Westley Hodges. Survivors include: wife, Jaquetta Marie Arbuckle of Henderson; sons, Lonnie Hodges and wife Kim of Athens, Danny Hodges of Henderson, and David Arbuckle and wife Shannon of Frisco; daughters, Sherry Newsom and husband Tommie of Big Spring, and Carol Kinsley and husband Tim of Austin; sister, Eldee Rowe and husband Floyd of Muskogee, OK; grandchildren, Amanda Pruitt, Matthew Hodges, Josh Hodges, Cassidy Hodges, Matthew Arbuckle, Nathan Arbuckle, Sean Arbuckle, Spencer Arbuckle, Natalie Newsom, and Ashley Arbuckle; and numerous great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Matt Hodges, Josh Hodges, Melvin Mintor, David Roberts, Roger Gunz, and Wayne Cure. Honorary pallbearers will be the Elders and Deacons of South Main Church of Christ.
