James C. Adams passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2010, at Nathan Adelson Hospice in Las Vegas, Nevada. James was born July 11, 1913, in Etowah County, Alabama, to Ben and Eliza Adams. He was a resident of Anniston, Alabama, for many years. James retired from M&H Valve and Fitting Company in 1975, in Anniston, Alabama, and moved to Naples, Florida, where he lived until moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2005. James was married to Dorothy Rose Hicks, who preceded him in death in 1974. James had four siblings, Bill, Maddie, Marvin and Ann, who all preceded him in death. He is survived by his daughter, Betty Joan Baker and her husband, Tom; granddaughter Keisha Rena Baker and her husband, Sean and three great-grandchildren, Dalton, Madison, and Chelsea. Services will be at the Eulaton Baptist Church in Anniston on December 12, 2010, at 11:30 a.m. conducted by Koy Brooks.
