Geneva was born May 31, 1921, Geneva Estelle Johnson. She was born at East Sweden in McCulloch County to Charles and Mary Ella Johnson. She passed away on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at the Brownwood Regional Medical Center at 90 years of age. Geneva and family grew up on a ranch near Placid, Texas and after graduating from high school, she attended Long Beach Junior College in California. She returned to the ranch and after a short while married and had four children, Berry, Mike, Teresa, and Charlie. Geneva was married to T. J. (Jeff) Albritton in 1959 and remained married for 40 years until his death in 1999. When the Great New Society programs began in 1964, Geneva became a social worker with the State of Texas until her retirement. She then returned to the ranch to help her father. After his death, she and Jeff moved to Lake Brownwood. Geneva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her daughter, her brothers and a sister. She is survived by three sons, eight grandchildren, f15 great-grandchildren, a niece and two nephews.
