Eugene (Gene) was born July 27 1953 to Marjorie A. Condon(Gorton) and Donald (Don) F. Condon. Gene attended schools such as McKee Des Moines Iowa, May Goodrell Jr. High Des Moines Iowa, East High School Des Moines, Iowa Graduated 1971, From there he went Area 11 Community College Ankeny Iowa for basic college skills and Worshams Mortuary School in Chicago IL, At the age of 25 Gene was diagnose as a diabetic. Gene as a teenager work for his dad insurance office and as he got older he went down to Grandview Funeral in Des Moines to help move caskets as the funeral home became flooded by 4 mile creek. From doing that Gene decided that he like working at Grandview Funeral Home so he went to school to become a funeral director. As Gene was in Chicago he met his first wife Terry Lee Romaine Lizo from Bensenville IL Terry came to Des Moines by bus sort after that they was married for 10 years before they was divorce Gene never had any kids with Terry. Gene and his dad Don Condon purchased a Funeral Home in Slater, Iowa Riis Funeral Home this would be 1979 shortly after taking over ownership Don (Dad) past away in it. Gene and His mother Marjorie and brother Jerry try to run the funeral home until After Jerry (Gene) brother that would be me went to mechanic school at Lincoln Tech West Des Moines, Iowa and when I got out we all moved to Dallas Texas Wasn't too long after that Gene meet his second wife Kimberly A. Condon (Hundley)1988 Than about 1995 Kaylie Mae Condon was born and Kim past away of breast cancer January 1, 2001. And Kaylie and Gene lived together until Kaylie moved out and shortly after that Gene became more ill.
