George Woodrow "Woody" Barrie of Orion Township was the husband of Alice for 63 years; Father of W. Lee (Sharon), Sandy Lawrence, & Gary (Joanne); Also survived by 13 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren; Brother of Margaret Christian of FL. Brother in Law of August Pfieffer of Gregory and Mable Barrie of Hillman. George was a lifetime member of Pontiac/Waterford Elks, a 32nd degree Mason and a Clarkston Eagle. He was a teacher of 40 years in which 25 were in Clarkston. He retired as an Assistant Superintendent of the Clarkston Schools. George also enjoyed hunting, fishing, traveling, gardening, and his family.
