Grandpa was born in a sod house and lived to see a man walk on the moon....He was a farmer for all of his life, had the most beautiful blue eyes, the color of faded jeans, and always had time for his grandkids. Never got angry, even when I drove the tractor thru the fence, just laughed and said it can be fixed. Loved to be in the barn with him helping to do chores.
He was survived by his son, Ira, daughter, Alice Baum, 6 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren and a sister, Besse Holden.
