Josephine D. Test was the first wife of Indianapolis businessman Skiles E. Test. They were married in 1913 and divorced in 1933. In the ensuing years, she would visit him at his estate on the northside of Indianapolis, where they had spent their married life. For over four decades she was a resident of a large brick apartment house at the corner of 16th and Pennsylvania in Indianapolis across from the Herron School of Art. For a time she lived with her sister, Gertrude. After her divorce from Test, she did not remarry and is interred in the Denges family plot in Crown Hill Cemetery.
