Funeral arrangements are incomplete at the Hogan Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N. E. Mason City.

MASON CITY

Audrey Mae Adams, 64, of 128 Ninth St. N.W., died Thursday (Sept. 12, 1996) at her home.

A funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Holy Family Catholic Church, 714 N. Adams Ave., with the Rev. John R. Kremer officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Greene.

Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Sunday at Hogan-Bremer Colonial Chapel, 126 Third St. N.E., with a Scriptural wake service at 7 p.m.

Audrey Mae Adams was born May 11, 1932, at Charles City, the daughter of Ralph and Lillian (Smith) Skillen. She attended schools in Greene.

She married Jack Adams on June 12, 1954, at Preston, Minn.

In 1993, she retired from Mercy Hospital after 17 years of service.

She enjoyed shopping, traveling and spending time with her grandchildren.

She also enjoyed spending time with her cats and sitting on the front porch watching life and all it had to offer.

Her hobbies included feeding and watching the birds and squirrels out in her yard.

Survivors include her husband, Jack Adams, Mason City; four sons, Craig Adams, Minneapolis, Minn.; Brad Adams and his wife, Lori, Northwood; Clayton Adams and his wife, Christy, Mason City; and John Adams and his wife, Kathy, Rockford; three daughters, Valerie Thomas and her husband, Michael, Northwood; Lilyann Adams and Laurie Adams, both of Mason City; five sisters, Harriet Skillen and Paulette Skillen, both of Charles City; Kathleen Sinram; Joanne Sinram and her husband, Verne, Oelwein; and Sandy Dugan and her husband, Danny, Muscatine; eight grandchildren, Alisa and Lindsey Rathbone, Bobbie, Matt and Whitney Adams, all of Northwood; Jessica, Nicholas and Jared Adams, of all Mason City; six nephews and one niece.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Patrick Joseph Adams; one daughter, Kathleen Ann Adams; and one grandson, Nathan.
