Robert E. Allsopp, 89, of Palm Desert, CA entered into a peaceful rest on Friday, Oct. 12, 2007 in Chandler, Arizona. Bob was born in New Jersey on Sep. 2, 1918, son of Louis H. and Elva S. Allsopp. He moved to California after serving in the Marines during World War 11. He was a Los Angeles Police Officer for 30 years and retired to Palm Desert to enjoy his retirement with his loving wife Clare. He is survived by his wife, Clare (Person) Allsopp; his son, Glen of Visalia, CA; daughter Carol Navarro of Chandler, AZ; and two grandchildren, Robert and Corrine. Services are pending and interment will be in the Riverside National Cemetery.
