Nancy A. Alessi ws born October 8, 1957 in Chicago, Illinois to Nancy Kelly and Nicholas Tragos. She married Jerry Alessi on October 8, 1982 in Palos Hills, IL. She was a bus driver for Herscher High School District for 13 years. She also did volunteer work for Limestone Grade School. Nancy enjoyed gardening, riding her motorcycle and enjoyed playing bunco.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry of Kankakee, IL., two sons, Mark Alessi of Champaign, IL., and Steven Alessi of Kankakee, IL., one daughter Stephanie Alessi of Bloomington, IL., her parents, both of Spring Grove, IL., One sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Don Olson of Oak Forest, IL., three brothers and three sisters-in-law, Thomas and Susan Tragos of Chicago, IL., Nicholas and Diane Tragos of Tinley Park, Il., and George and Sueann Tragos of Homer Glen, IL., and seven nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, John and Ann Kelly.

Services: Services will be held on Monday, January 8, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church. Rev. Dennis Settles will officiate.

Visitation: Visitation will be held on Sunday, January 7, 2007 from 3 to 9 p.m. at the Kankakee Chapel of the Schreffler Funeral
