Solomon was born February 16, 1955 in the City of Axum, Ethiopia to the parentage of Mr. Berhane Tedla and Mrs. Abrehat Zerihun.
He received his primary education in the city of Massawa at Prince Mekonnen Elementary and graduated from High School in the cities of Gondar and Addis Ababa. He furthered his education and graduated from Alemaya Agricultural College.
Before he came to America, he was enrolled Addis Ababa University and upon moving to the United States of America, he furthered his education and enrolled at University of Texas at Dallas, and was one semester from short of receiving his degree in Computer Science.
He came to this country and was proud of his U.S. Citizenship.
He worked for the DFW Airport for 14 years and was recognized for his winning slogan "Going the extra mile-Making the difference". He was a tireless worker and loyal friend. Solomon will have a place forever in the history of DFW International Airport. His slogan was printed on buttons, cups, and other items for 2002.
Solomon was an avid reader, enjoying business magazines, and newspapers. He loved time with his family and was very proud of each of them.
He suffered a fatal heart attack. He is survived by his wife, Bekelech(Becky)Nega; daughter, Hannah Solomon, age 10; son, Matthew Solomon, age eight; mother, Abrehat Zerihun; brother, Dawit Berhane; sister, Azeb Berhane; nephew, Mulat Zerihun; and a host of other relatives and friends.
