She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was a sweetheart. She never bothered anyone and had a pleasing personality to those that knew her. She passed away on Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24, 2001.

Maggie Bordeaux
Mrs. Maggie Bordeaux, 70, of 277 N. Windsor Drive, Fayetteville, died Monday in Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
The funeral will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday in Wiseman Mortuary chapel by Bishop C.H. Yarboro. Burial will be in Rockfish Memorial Park.

Mrs. Bordeaux is survived by four sons, James Bordeaux, Jimmy Bordeaux, Ronald Bordeaux and Darryl Bordeaux, all of Fayetteville; a stepson, Clarence Bordeaux of Washington, D.C.; two daughters, Marilyn Bordeaux and Wanda David, both of Fayetteville; a stepdaughter, Rubye Lockamy; two sisters, Mary Walls of St. Louis and Bessie Sharey of Avenel, N.J.; her stepmother, Mae Munn of Fayette- ville; three stepsisters, Elester Rollins, Maggie Jackson and Sarah Herring, all of Fayetteville; two stepbrothers, David Munn Jr. of Willingsboro, N.J., and the Rev. Eugene Munn of Trenton, N.J.; 25 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

The public will be received today from 1 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The family will receive friends at the home.
