Robert R. Cooley died at his home in Moscow Mills last Monday morning at 7:30, of typhoid fever.  Funeral services were held at the Methodist church there Tuesday morning at 10 o’clock by Rev. J. S. Frazier, and a 2 in the afternoon the body was interred at the Troy Cemetery by Moscow lodge, No. 558, A. F. & A. M., several members of neighboring lodges assisting and the Moscow Military band heading the procession. Mr. Cooley was, we believe, born in St. Charles County, but for about a dozen years past had been engaged in the mercantile business at Moscow Mills. He married Miss Cora Bouldin there several years ago, and she and their three children survive him.  He also leaves a mother, brother, and other relatives.  He was a member of the Methodist church and also a Mason; and in church, lodge, business, and home life performed his duties with care, honesty, and integrity. Few young men had more friends than Bob Cooley, and the large attendance at his funeral was a fitting tribute to his memory.
