George Wilbert Anderson, my father, was a Navy Veteran, he wanted to be a boxer. He was the son of Elizabeth and Linwood Anderson, he was the husband of Mary Alice Taylor Anderson, father of Wilbert, George, Arlene, Linwood, Mary, Robert and Richard (Ricky) who preceded him in death. He had one brother, James Anderson,Sr. . George was a hard worker, he worked for Sinclair Refining Co. of Marcus Hook for many years. He was also a party person, good as gold during the week, but, on the weekend, he was a different person with somewhat of a not so nice temper. However, he still played Santa at Christmas.
