Vern (Buster) Adams, 63, of 4250 Route 307 was dead on arrival at Ashtabula General Hospital Monday, following a heart attack.

Mr. Adams was born June 6, 1918, in Leroy Township, a son of Verner E. and Mary Jane Whipple Adams. He was a member of the Unionville United Methodist Church of Christ.

Mr. Adams was a World War II army veteran. He was employed at the May Hughes Feed Mill in Madison for 29 years and from 1974 to 1979 he was a custodian with the Ledgemont School District.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Spear Funeral Home, 667 Mentor Ave., Painesville. The Rev. Joe Betsch of the Unionville United Church of Christ will officiate.

Burial will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chesterland.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
