Rosemary A. Abate, age 64 of Barbeau and formerly of Gaylord died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Hospice House in Cheboygan.
She was born on August 23, 1941 in Caro, where she was raised.
In 1963 she married Walter L. Abate and in 1969 the couple moved to Gaylord. They lived in Gaylord for 28 years before moving to Barbeau.
Mrs. Abate was preceded in death by her daughter Cathy Abate and her sister Lorna.
She is survived by her husband, Walter; her children, Michael Cash of Cheboygan, and Linda Wojtasiak of Milwaukee, WI; 2 grandchildren, Kelsey and Erin Wojtasiak; her mother, Beatrice Merryman of Plymouth; and brother, Bill Aman.
FUNERAL SERVICES will be held on Monday, July 10, 2006 at 2:00 PM from the Nelson Funeral Home, Rev. John Naile officiating.
Burial will follow at Hallock Cemetery in Elmira Twp.
Visitation will be held on Monday from 11:00 AM until the time of services.
