Born Nov. 16, 1900, in Stockton, he was a son of John and Mary Brown Allen.
Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Hazel Lyttle Allen; 3 sons, Celoy C. of Bexley, Richard of Marion and Gerald of Illinois; a daughter, Mrs. Maxine Arthur of Covington, Ky.; 14 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; a twin brother, Arthur C. of Reynoldsburg, and a sister, Mrs. Lottie Majors of Tucson, Ariz.
Services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. in Boyd Funeral Home. Lester Mahaffey of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery at LaRue.
Friends may call at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9.
