She is survived by her parents Lindsay & Matthew Bennett; brothers, Alex & Jack; grandparents, Donna Catracchia, Richard (Carol) Bennett & Katie (Ed) Gioia; uncle, Wes Catracchia; aunt, Amanda Bennett; godparents, Andy Maslyn & Kaylen Ohira; best friend, Krissy Maslyn; many cousins & friends.

Mackenzie's visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 on Wednesday at the funeral home, 1411 Vintage Lane. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated 12 Noon on Thursday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, 5000 Mt. Read Blvd

Mackenzie was a 1st grader at Terry Taylor elementary school & gift to everyone around her. She loved her friends and making other people happy. She could spend hours listening to music and coloring pictures with sharpies and always wanted to give her pictures away to other people. She loved to travel and her favorite place to go was New York City which we traveled to every month for nearly a year. She could spend all day in Central Park, sweetly introducing herself to every child on every playground. She was saving her money for an apartment on the Upper East Side in Manhattan, where she wanted to either be a veterinarian or a singer. She loved her family and her brothers, and found something beautiful in everyone she knew, even total strangers. After meeting Mackenzie, people instantly loved her and found new reasons to love themselves. While receiving treatment at the hospital all she wanted to do was collect toys to bring to the kids who were staying there. She happily gathevd.red her own toys that were never opened and gave them to other kids. She made this world beautiful and we hope others continue to do the same in her honor.
