MONROE Mrs. Kimberly Maria Bullard , 34, died Tuesday, January 1, 2002 at Carolinas Medical Center. Weather permitting, funeral services celebrating her life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with the Reverend Clyde Hawkins of Sandy Ridge Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens. Her family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bullard was born November 15, 1967 in Washington, DC to Roy and Sonia Melton. She was a homemaker and a loving and devoted wife and mother. She loved decorating, gardening, and had plans on studying to become a Med-Tech.
Her survivors include her husband of 15 years, Jeffrey Roger "Jeff" Bullard, her son, Glenn Bullard , her daughter, Melissa Bullard , all of Monroe; her father, Roy Melton of Florida and her mother, Sonia Melton of Washington, DC; her sister, Maria Melton and her brother, Bud Melton, both of Charlotte; and by her grandmother, Mary Minogue of MA.
The family requests that memorials be made to the Glenn and Melissa Bullard Education Fund, c/o Sharon Funderburk, First Charter Bank, 1401 Skyway Drive, Monroe, NC 28110.
