Mr. James Franklin ``Bud'' Clark Sr., 75, of Charlotte, died July 12, 1999, at Presbyterian Hospital.
Funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday at Bible Baptist Church with Pastor James Phillips officiating. Burial will follow in Sharon Memorial Park. Visitation is 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Lowe-DeBord Funeral Home, 4715 Margaret Wallace Rd.
Mr. Clark was born March 18, 1924 in Charlotte, son of the late John R. and Nellie Baker Clark . He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served his country during WWII. Mr. Clark retired as a truck driver after 29 years of service with Sears. He will always be remembered as a loving Daddy and Paw Paw.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Thomas Clark ; son, Frank Clark of Matthews; brothers, Joe Clark of Los Angeles, CA, Leroy Clark and Herbert Clark , both of Charlotte; sisters, Betty Sullivan and Mary Ellen Bell, both of Charlotte; grandchildren, Mary Brinkley, David Clark and Angela Clark ; great-grandchildren, Hailee Brinkley and Jimmy Clark .
