Mr. David Preston Bost , 34, of Charlotte died Oct. 23, 1993, at Carolinas Medical Center. Funeral is 11 a.m. Thursday at Evergreen Cemetery. Wilson Funeral Home is in charge.
Mr. Bost , a Charlotte native and a Biggers Brothers security guard, was a 1977 graduate of Independence High School, where he played football. He also graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in criminal justice and was on the dean's list. He also had simultaneously held both North and South Carolina weight lifting titles.
Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ben Bost ; brother, MSgt. John Benjamine Bost Jr., of Okinawa; sister, Mrs. Valerie Lovelace; one nephew.
