MUSCATINE, Iowa - Raymond A. Allison, 86, died Friday at Muscatine General Hospital. Services will be 3 p.m. Monday at George M. Wittich-Lewis Funeral Home, Muscatine. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Muscatine. Graveside military rites will be conducted by the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Visitation is 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, with a Moose service to be held at 7:30 p.m.
He was a self-employed farmer in the Muscatine area. Mr. Allison married Shirley Johnson in 1986 in Muscatine. During World War II, he served in the Army. He was a member of Muscatine Moose Lodge.Survivors include his wife; sons, Raymond, Loren and Gary, all of Muscatine; a stepson, Gary Johnson, Centerville; a stepdaughter, Suzanne Schmidt, Muscatine; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
