Trixie was my first dog (a beagle) who I picked out of the littter when I was six. She was a beautiful girl and very smart. One day when the schol buscame to pick up my brother and I, we were surprised to find our Trixie was right behind us! Thank goodness our mother had seen her leave the house, so she was right there to take her home. Upon returning home from school, we could count on seeing her sitting at the picture window waiting for us.
Trixie was a beloved pet, and I miss her terribly. I can't wait to see her again when I am "crossed over." After all, all pets go to Heaven!!
