Matthew Dale Adair, 57, of Corpus Christi passed away on Sunday, August 4, 2013.

He was born on August 21, 1955 in Corpus Christi, Tx. to Jimmy C. Adair and Lou Ann Miller. Matthew enjoyed surfing, golfing, dove hunting, and gambling; he loved Vegas and was "King of The 21 Table". Matthew was V.P. and then a CEO of the Tennessee Pipe Line Construction; which was his life's work.

Matthew is preceded in death by a son, Justin Adair; brother, Brent Adair; parents, Jimmy C. Adair and Lou Ann Adair.

Matthew is survived by his loving wife, Betty Sue Adair; children, James Adair (Jessica), Travis Adair (Kelli Olson); grandchildren, Alivia Adair, Layla Adair, Darrin Macias, Taylor Torres; brothers, Brad Adair (Judy), Preston Adair (Vicki) of Corpus Christi, Scott Magee (Jessica) of Austin; and numerous nieces and nephews; Jimmy's wife, Dottie Adair.

Family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2013 at Seaside Funeral Home. A Funeral Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at Seaside Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Seaside Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, please donate to charity of choice or Haven for Hope in San Antonio, Texas.

Pallbearers will be Charlie Robertson, Wayne Hojnacki, Bill Defratus, Darrell Harned, James "Corky" Guill, and Candy Vasquez.
