Guadalupe "Pia" Aguilar, 84, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, November 18, 2006 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 3, 1922 in Corpus Christi, Texas to Teodulo and Margarita Guerrero Aguilar. Guadalupe was a homemaker, a member of St. Peter Prince of the Apostle Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, Texas, and a life long resident of Corpus Christi, Texas. Pia loved spending time with her family, while they enjoyed her crocheting and her cooking. She was a loving sister, aunt, and friend who will be missed dearly by her family and friends.

She goes home to reunite with her parents, Teodulo and Margarita Aguilar and her sister, Antonia Aguilar, who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her brothers, Juan Aguilar and Simon Aguilar both of Corpus Christi, Texas, Refugio (Margarita) Aguilar and Esteven (The Late Josefina) Aguilar both of Banquete, Texas; her aunts, Alicia Flores of California and Antonia Campos of Laredo, Texas. She was also loved and adored by her numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host of friends.

A rosary was recited Nov. 20, 2006 at Ramon Funeral Home Chapel in Robstown, TX. A funeral mass was held Nov. 21 at St. Peter Prince of the Apostle Catholic Church in Corpus Christi, TX. Interment followed at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
