He was a businessman who owned and operated many businesses including the Center Grill, Artistic Flowers in Corpus Christi and Portland, as well as being a well known antique dealer. Upon the death of his father, he took over the care and upbringing of his mother and younger siblings.
He has many close friends, who spent so much time with him during his illness, especially Charlie Stuart. The family is extremely grateful for the many acts of kindness, generosity and friendship.
He is preceded in death by his parents Ted and Elsie Adams; brothers, James Adams, Bill Adams, Dan Bonich; sister, Marian Alexander and nephew Ted Rogers.
Gus is survived by his two sisters, Georgia (James) Davis of Corsicana, Texas and Paulette (John) Wilson of San Antonio, Texas; three brothers: Nick Adams and Michael Bonich of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Tom (Theresa) Morrison of Mesquite, Texas; numerous nieces, nephews, great and great, great nieces and nephews, friends and extended family.
Visitation and a Trisagion service were held Jan. 25 at Maxwell P. Dunne Funeral Home. A Funeral Service was held Jan. 26 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. Burial followed at Seaside Memorial Park.
