Rev. Wilburn "W.C." Ahlrich, 79, of Robstown, Texas passed away Saturday, July 14, 2007. He was born on November 20, 1927 in Kingsville, Texas.

Rev. Ahlrich graduated from Robstown High School in 1945, Texas Lutheran College in 1947, Capital University in Columbus, Ohio with a BA in 1949, and Trinity Lutheran Seminary in 1952. Rev. Ahlrich began his ministry as pastor of Trinity Lutheran Church in East Rochester, New York and went on to serve the Lutheran ministry in Austin, Fort Worth, Houston, San Antonio, Tynan, George West and Durant, Oklahoma prior to retiring in Robstown, Texas.

He enjoyed a life of travel, music, and foreign language.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wilburn and Ida Ahlrich; former wife, Sharon Hufford.

He is survived by one daughter, Angela (Dow) Seagraves of Fort Worth, Texas; one brother, Kenneth (Virginia) Ahlrich of Robstown; numerous extended family.

Funeral services were conducted July 17, 2007 at St. John Lutheran Church in Robstown. Burial followed at Robstown Cemetery.
