Maria R. Abrego, 81, of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away on Sunday, October 21, 2007.
Maria is preceded in death by her sister, Juanita Rodriguez, her brother Ramon Rodriguez, parents Manuel and Concepcion Rodriguez and her husband Juan S. Abrego in August 2007.
She is survived by her children: Mary Frances Abrego, Magali Gongora, Johnny Abrego all of Corpus Christi, Texas and Frank (Carmen) Abrego of Irving, Texas; grandchildren Gloria (John) Saenz, Laura (Gabriel) Gongora-Silva, Juan Antonio Gongora, Jennifer Abrego Potter and Krista Ramirez; great-grandchildren: Stacy Ann Gongora, Ashley Nichole Gongora, Renee Ann Davila, Ciara Nicole Carrasco, Destiny Celeste Carrasco, Mariah Reina Silva, Gabriel Silva, Jr., Shelby Lee Saenz, Chantel Potter, Mikayla Potter, Roland Potter, Lori Ann and Alex DelBosque, Antonio Gomez and Alexandria DelBosque; numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation held at Corpus Christi Funeral Home. Funeral mass celebrated at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment followed at Rose Hill Memorial Park.
