Kenneth Robert Adams, 62, lost his battle with cancer on March 16, 2008. After graduating McCallum high school and a brief stint in the Army, Kenneth spent his entire adult life as an HVAC technician, whose knowledge and talents will be sorely missed. He loved the area lakes and fishing and was an avid UT fan. Born in Wharton, Texas to James Horace Adams Sr. and Margaret Alsup Adams, Kenneth has lived in Midland, Corpus Christi, and the Austin area - always in Texas.

Preceded in death by his parents and brother James Horace Adams Jr., he is survived by daughter Kandice Rene Adams, and two brothers - Fisher and wife Sue of Midland; Herbert and wife Carolyn of Austin. Also surviving is his wife, Cheryl; her two daughters - Laura and husband Kevin Watson; Patricia and husband Clif Sullivan; and eight dearly loved grandchildren: Riley, Emma and Ian Adams; Alexandra, Zachary and Matthew Watson; Bridgett and Jacob Sullivan.

A memorial services was held on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at Cook-Walden Chapel of the Hills.
