Vergil John Arthur Bell, 75, of Mount Laguna died Saturday. He was born in New Underwood, S.D., and was a mason and financial adviser. He served in the Army during the Korean War and was a member of Calvary Chapel Church.
Survivors include his wife, Joan Bell; daughters, Denise Lane, Elyse Bradford and Michelle Overby; son, Vergil Bell; mother, Marguerite Bell; brothers, Harry Bell and Craig Bell; 12 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. Sunday, Pathways Community Church, 9626 Carlton Hills Blvd., Santee.
Inurnment: Alpine Cemetery, 2495 W. Victoria Drive, Alpine.
Arrangements: Funeraria Aztlan Mortuary.
