Grace E. Adams, age 94, of Palestine, Texas died April 5, 2011, at Cartmell Home for the Aged in Palestine. Burial in Roselawn Park is under the direction of Bailey & Foster Palestine. She was born June 8, 1916, in Clinton, Oklahoma, to Early Marshall and Ethel Eilenberger Lee. She was a homemaker and a member of Crockett Road Church of Christ. Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Winfred S. Adams; daughter, Lily Ann Hughes; granddaughter, Lanie Franks; three sisters and three brothers. She is survived by daughters, Quinclyn Roland of Ft. Worth, Lana Caperton of Scurry, and Beverly Grace Skelton of Tyler; son, Fred Adams of Palestine; sixteen grandchildren, twenty-eight great grandchildren, and four great great grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Doyle Adams, Wayne Skelton, Colby Skelton, Reagan Hillier, Kolton Caperton, Hal Hughes, Tommy Hughes, Adam Hughes, and Mark Hughes.
