Brandy was our oldest daughter's dog. He was a toy poodle. She got him as a puppy from her friend. He was a stinker. Seems like he was always chewing up something.
He never knew that he was a tiny little dog. He was always trying to show the neighbors German Shepherd that he was bigger and vicious too.
He also made sure that the squirrels stayed out of the yard. When he would get ready to go outside, and you said "squirrel" he would race out the door, down the steps and into the middle of the yard, barking the whole time. Stop and look around and look back at you as if to say, "where." Of course, they was long gone before he even cleared the door.
In 1988, he started going blind, & having other health problems. We would carry him down the deck steps and over to the grass, so he could go potty. But had to keep a close eye on him or he would walk into things. Didn't want him to get hurt. Finally in 1990 we decide it was better for him to go to doggy heaven. Sure do miss that feisty little stinker.
