Unknown (Man) Committed by Samuel Cowles Judge of San Francisco May 15th 1865. This patient refuses to speak and no information can be obtained from him. Drs. Harris and Henry sent him to the County Hospital on the 21st of last Month - at the Hospital he never spoke, but hollowed (hollered or howled?) during the nights. His disease increasing with no rational intervals; is dangerous because unable to take care of himself; has no disposition to injure others - is not suicidal - is disposed to destroy clothing; cause unknown; class, mania; no treatment. Admitted may 18th 1865. Has no property. Died October 7th 1865.
