ALLEN, Lawrence K.

Lawrence K. Allen, 90, of Coventry, husband of Barbara (Carpenter) Allen, died Thursday, (January 10, 2008) at Windham Hospital. He was the son of the late Charles and Mary (Imer) Allen. Lawrence worked for 45 years at Pratt and Whitney as a computer analyst. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a great love for animals, especially his parakeet, Ozzie. He was a long time member of the Masons. Besides his wife Barbara, he is survived by a son Robert Allen of Arizona; two daughters: Barbara Pleasent of Coventry and Susan Harris of Coventry; four grandsons, four granddaughters, and ten great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Richard Allen. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, January 15, at 1 p.m. at Nathan Hale Cemetery in Coventry. There are no calling hours. The Potter Funeral Home, 456 Jackson St., Willimantic is assisting with arrangements.
