Amanda C. "Lucille" Brown, 90, of Tillamook and formerly of Union died May 5. A private family service will be held at a later date. Waud's Funeral Home in Tillamook is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Brown was born Nov. 7, 1915, in Casa, Ark., to George and Mary Lue Shelton Sutton. She attended school in Arkansas, and on Dec. 24, 1936, she married Cecil Forest Brown (son of John Wm & Myrtle Mae Alexander Brown) in Rockwell, Texas.
The couple lived in Oklahoma, Texas and Oregon, where they lived in Estacada and Union. When they retired they moved to Tillamook in 1995 to be near family.
Survivors include a sister, Martha Jane Barber, and other relatives. Her husband died earlier.
