Elgie Fay Young Busby of Wynne, Arkansas passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2016 at the age of eighty-one. She was born on June 7, 1934 in Deer, Arkansas the daughter of Virgil and Leota Sue Benegar Young.
She worked at Country Store #284 for fifteen years and was a loyal member of New Hope Baptist Church. Elgie was a loving and devoted mother and sister. She loved being outside and working in her yard. Mrs. Busby was an avid sports fan who loved the Razorbacks and was extremely proud to be a resident of cross county for more than seventy-five years.
Mrs. Busby was preceded in death by her husband: Carl Busby, her parents: Virgil and Leota Young, six brothers: Homer Young, Oran Young, Roy Wayne Young, Chester L. Young, Ivry E. Young, Vernon R. Young, one sister: Helen M. Hess.
She is survived by: one son: Rick Heartgraves of Little Rock, Arkansas, one brother: Phillip Jerry Young of Maumelle, Arkansas, one sister: Linda Sue Young of Wynne, Arkansas.
