He married Nancy (Johnson, daughter of William & Polley) in Oct. 1818 in Monson, Hampden Co., MA - a few miles east of Springfield. Two sons, William and Levi, were born in MA. In 1830, the family was living in Sweden, Monroe Co., NY, where a third son, Alexander "Alex" was born in Brockport.
By 1840, the family was living in Warren Co., IL. Shortly after the census was taken, son William O. married Harriet Abigail Potter, daughter of the local miller, Chester Potter. They had 11 children, all born in IL.
At the end of the Civil War, Adna's children continued moving west, to Kansas, where it is assumed that both Adna and Nancy died. They are buried there, in Waubansee County.
