ELLSWORTH - Floyd D. Rozelle, 89, died Sunday morning at the Ellsworth County Veteran's Memorial Hospital, Ellsworth.
Born Oct. 6, 1881 in Ellsworth County, he married Gertrude Handlin Dec. 4, 1907, in Ellsworth. She died May 11, 1957. He was a retired farmer and a life resident.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Mabel Kootz, Lincoln; sons, Bert, Ellsworth; Lewis C., West Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada; brother Ben F., Coeur d'Alene, Idaho; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Grubb Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Jeffries officiating. Burial will be in the Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call after 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. The family suggests a memorial to the Good Samaritan Home, Ellsworth.
